PAGTAKAS explores the dilemmas faced by Iro, who left his family in Baryo Tam-is to work in the city.  While Iro struggled for decent wages and basic services with co-workers in the city, his hometown unexpectedly faced the horrors of war. Families were evacuated. Iro found his way back to his baryo despite travel restrictions. His young son was among the many children who fell sick in the evacuation center. Reunited with his wife Lucia, an able worker who helped run the center, and his children, they pondered on the prospect of spending Christmas away from home, and struggled with the option of either returning to their baryo or moving out to the city altogether.

PAG-UWI SA TAM-IS  saw the families returning to their homes only to find their community ravaged by the fighting.  The community well was destroyed. The school and many homes were damaged. These developments were reflected from the eyes of the children, who struggled with the loss of loved ones and the disruption in the lives of their families and friends. Netnet’s 15-year old brother Noli joined the rebels, was wounded and brought back home to recover. The community was distraught, suspicious and feared the return of conflict. In the end, they realized that community action will help them rebuild their communal lives.

PAG-IBIG SA PANAHON NG PAGBABAGO revolves on the life of Cathy, a member of the staff of Sulong CARHRIHL.  Cathy is brought to the center of action when she was sent to help facilitate support for affected communities in Leyte and facilitate dialogue between the community and the armed forces. There she meets Fr. Greg, whose life of living dangerously amazed her. Fr Greg tried to build bridges among the different stakeholders to the conflict. In keeping with his priestly duties, he fearlessly administered the sacraments to all those in need. Cathy finds her love interest in another NGO worker, Robert of Balay.
